This single-latch lever lock is easy to install—if your current lock is a similar one-hole design with just a latch, installation could be as simple as swapping out a few screws.
With Matter-over-Thread compatibility, the Aqara U300 works seamlessly with popular platforms that support the Matter standard**, like Apple HomeKit, Google Home, and Amazon Alexa. You can also manage it directly through the Aqara Home app***.
Built for durability, the U300 runs on 4 AA batteries and offers a battery life of up to 10 months. Its IPX4 waterproof rating makes it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
*Apple Home Key setup requires a 2-in-1 Apple Home Hub that acts as a Matter Controller and Thread Border Router, like the HomePod Mini.
**Additional hardware may be needed, such as the platform’s Matter Controller.

Apple Home Keys & Various Unlocking Methods
The U300 provides multiple convenient unlocking options, including Apple Home Keys (requires an Apple 2-in-1 Matter controller & Border Router), fingerprint, passcode, NFC, and more. You can control the lock through the app using Bluetooth or Matter for remote access. It also supports temporary passwords, such as one-time and periodic passwords, making it easy to share access. For emergencies, the lock comes with two mechanical keys.
