Step 1: Bind Aqara Smart Lock to Aqara Home Hub
Before you can use your Aqara Smart Lock with Alexa, you need to connect it to the Aqara Home Hub. Follow these steps:
- Open the Aqara Home App
Download and open the Aqara Home app on your smartphone. - Go to Settings
Tap on the settings icon in the app. - Select Paired Hub
In the settings menu, find and tap on the “Paired Hub” option. - Bind Your Hub
Tap on “Bind a Hub” and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the connection.
Step 2: Enable Aqara Home Skill in Amazon Alexa App
Once your Aqara Lock is connected to the Aqara Hub, it’s time to link it with Alexa. Follow these steps:
- Open the Amazon Alexa App
Launch the Alexa app on your phone or tablet. - Add a New Device
Tap on the “Devices” icon at the bottom of the screen. Then, click on the “+” sign to add a new device. - Enable Aqara Home Skill
Search for the Aqara Home skill in the Alexa app. Select it and tap “Enable.” - Sign In to Aqara Account
You’ll be prompted to log in to your Aqara Home account to link it with Alexa. Enter your credentials and follow the prompts. - Device setup: Tap on Discover the device
