6 Simple Steps to Connect the Wi-Fi Bridge to Your igloohome Lock Account

Step 1: Unbox the Wifi Bridge

The Wi-Fi bridge comes with:

  • A USB-C cable to power it.
  • Adhesive mounting tape for easy placement.

Step 2: Powering the Bridge

  1. Plug in the USB-C cable:
    • Connect the USB-C end to the Bridge.
    • Plug the other end into a USB power adapter.
  2. Wait for Initialization:
    • After about a minute, the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth LEDs on the bridge will start blinking slowly to indicate it’s in ready-to-pair mode.
    • This mode will last for 10 minutes. If pairing doesn’t happen within this time, the LEDs will stop blinking, and the bridge will enter dormant mode.
  3. Re-enter Ready-to-Pair Mode: If needed, press the multi-function button once to reset the bridge to ready-to-pair mode.

Step 3: Pairing the Bridge with the Igloohome Home App

  1. Install the Igloohome App:
    • Download the Igloohome from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
    • If you don’t have an account, create one and log in.
  2. Go to Add and Manage:
    • In the app, tap [Add and Manage], then select [Bridges].
    • Tap the [+] icon at the top right corner.
  3. Start Pairing:
    • Select [Next] when the bridges is ready to pair mode with Wi-Fi (green) and Bluetooth (blue) LEDs are blinking slowly.
    • Wait for the app to detect the Bridge and select the Bridge ID.
    • Once the pairing is complete, assign a name to the bridge and finish adding it to your account.

Step 4: Connecting the Bridge to Your Wi-Fi Network

  1. Start Wi-Fi Configuration: Select [Start Wi-Fi Configuration] in the app.
  2. Enter Wi-Fi Password:
    • If your phone is already connected to your preferred Wi-Fi network, enter the Wi-Fi password when prompted.
    • Note: The bridge supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks only.
  3. Turn on Wi-Fi (if off):
    • If Wi-Fi is turned off on your phone, please enable it to proceed with the WiFi setup.
    • Select [Go to Wi-Fi settings] to be directed to your phone’s settings and turn on Wi-Fi.
    • Once connected to the Wi-Fi network, return to the igloohome app and enter the network password.
  4. Manual Setup: If you prefer, select the [Other network] tab and manually input your Wi-Fi network name.

Step 5: Linking the Locks to the Bridge

  1. Start Linking: Once you’ve paired the bridge with your account and connected it to your Wi-Fi network, select [Create Link] to begin pairing your Igloohome locks.
  1. Select Lock(s): Choose the lock you wish to link to the bridge and wait for the pairing process to finish.
  2. Add More Locks: If you want to link more locks, select [Create More Links] and choose additional locks to pair with the bridge.
  1. Test All Links: After linking the locks, select [Test All Links] to ensure everything is functioning properly.
  2. Diagnostic Check:
    • The app will run diagnostics to verify if the bridge and all locks are properly linked.
    • If the diagnostic results show that the bridge is connected and all locks are functioning, you’ve successfully set up remote access.(linked your locks with bridge)
