Step1: Download and Install the Aqara Home App:

Start by downloading the Aqara Home app on your iPhone or iPad from the App Store.
Login or create an account if you’re a new user.

Step 2: Set Up Your Aqara Smart Lock

Before integrating with HomeKit, ensure your Aqara lock is properly set up:
Add the smart lock to the app > go to the smart lock option > choose the locks

Hold your phone close to the door lock.
Open the battery cover of the lock and press the “Set” key briefly.
Your phone should display a code. Enter this code in the Aqara app.
Assign a name to the lock and select the room it is assigned to.
When adding the first user, create a strong password for secure access.
Set the passcode within the Aqara app to link it with the lock.

Step 3: Pair Your Aqara Lock with Apple HomeKit

Open the Aqara Home app and navigate to the smart lock’s settings.
To integrate with HomeKit, tap on “Other Platforms” in the lock settings, select “HomeKit,” and bind it.
Activate pairing mode by pressing the HomeKit button on the back of the lock.
Use your iPhone or iPad to scan the HomeKit QR code found inside the back cover of the lock.
